ALBA has been looking for opportunities to expand our business in Indonesia. It is a growing country, but resource management is not well developed. In addition, Indonesia has a particular plastic waste problem, so we have investigated this sector. ALBA had established a partnership with Tridi Oasis, which Dian Kurniawati co-founded. This female-led company specializes in recycling bottles into rPET flakes, which are used to manufacture circular packaging and textiles. Tridi Oasis has a factory near Jakarta and has become a key player in Indonesia’s circular transition.

To enable Tridi Oasis to grow and to confirm ALBA’s position in Indonesia, we have successfully completed the joint venture acquisition, and PT ALBA Tridi Plastics Recycling has been born! We welcome Dian and her team into the ALBA family and look forward to growing together.
